The national mission is to encourage the Australian community to protect and conserve the natural environment through individual actions.
Held in the last week of August, Keep Australia Beautiful Week was created to help focus and remind people of the simple things they can do in their daily lives to help protect the environment.
This year's theme, Save the World: Start at Home, encourages positive changes that will reduce our collective ecological footprint.
