Revegetation project

Through biodiversity education, Year 9 science students from Kilvington Girls Grammer, Ormond (VIC) learnt how everyday small actions make a difference to environmental sustainability. Collaborating in small groups, the girls revegetated public space and undertook biodiversity surveys.

Sustainable environment reserve

Year 12 William Carey Christian School student, David Nedved, displayed some great research skills to redesign his local reserve. His plan for a sustainable environment reserve was considered for funding by his local council.

Alien Invasion

Inspired by her bush regeneration work, year 12 student Celine Steinfeld from the St. Catherine's School (NSW) created an interactive CD-rom designed to stop the alien plant invasion at Gordon's Bay.
