Smart transport ticketing
Annesley College student Karen Zong was concerned about the environmental impact of disposable public transport tickets, including greenhouse gas emissions, litter and stormwater pollution. She explored the environmental benefits of introducing reusable plastic smart cards for transport users.
Students for a sustainable future
Students from All Saints Anglican School, Merimac (QLD) organised a spectacular student conference. The conference addressed all aspects of sustainability: cultural, social, economic and environmental. Topics ranged from feminism to alternative energy to global world order.

Lisa Batten and Rebekah Waite, year 11 geography students from Ferny Grove State High School (QLD), created a camapign to raise awareness of the impacts on Cedar Creek.
