Create lamps from recycled materials while student learn about the effects production,consumption and disposal have on our environment. Students begin to question if there is another way??? Maybe Closed Loop design is a solution... Reduce/Reuse/Recycle

Description: A unit of work that promotes ethical sustainable design through the use of recylced materials to create a new product. Students research case studies as examples of how sustainable design is used in real world examples. By responding to the short animation "The Story of Stuff" and looking at work of other designers, students then design lamps from recycled materials.
